Corpse Flower

                    Corpse Flower, It is also known as Titan Arum. It is commonly called as World's Largest Flower. It is a rare tropical plant. The native of corpse flower is equatorial rainforests of Sumatra, Indonesia.These are about 100 recored cultivated corpse flower around the world.  The  plant grow upto 15 feet width and 8 feet tall.

                    In 1878, an Italian bontanist named Odoardo Beccari discovered the Titan Arum in the dense equatorial rainforests of the island of Sumatra. It get the energy from the sun and stores it at the stem. When the bud blooms on this plant, the heat from it gives a foul odor like the carcass of a dead animal.Now it is a Vulnerable species.
